This Pathfinder SV was equipped with the relatively newer style of low profile mini blade fuses which can be purchased at any auto parts store, Walmart or online at Amazon.
A white plastic fuse puller tool should be included on the interior passenger compartment electrical panel. The main electrical panel is the largest square black plastic box located just to the right of the engine air filter box and behind the 12V automotive battery.
A/C Blowing Hot Air
There is a smaller electrical box in front of the primary panel with a rectangular shaped cover and a triangular shaped cover. Gently press in the tab on the front of the smaller fuse box to release the cover. Lift the cover and turn it over to view the fuse location diagram.
To access the fuses and relays in the primary electrical box, gently pull back the four retaining clips. There are two clips on the left side and two on the right side. Lift the electrical panel out of the box and turn it over to access the fuses. Small Box - Left Rear Push In Tab To Release Fuse Box Cover Removed There is another small rectangular shaped electrical box on the left passenger side of the engine just above the plastic engine cover and near the cowl plastic below windshield.
Press in the release tab on the right side of the cover and pull it off. There is a fuse and relay location diagram on the underside of the cover. Driver Side Dashboard Pull Out Access Cover Interior Electrical Block To access the interior passenger compartment electrical panel, move to the left side of the dashboard near where the driver's left knee would reside.
Insert your fingers in to the slot on the access cover and gently pull it out of the dashboard. There is a fuse location diagram on the other side of the access panel.
Place the tool over the fuse you'd like to check or change. Pull the old fuse straight out of the socket. If the thin metal bar in the translucent plastic middle part of the old fuse appears to be burnt or broken, then it is most likely "blown" and should be replaced with a new one.
If the thin metal band or "strip" seems to be intact, then the old fuse is probably still good. Since new fuses are so inexpensive, it should be replaced as part of your electrical problem troubleshooting process. If you suspect that your issue is a faulty relay, you'll need to use a multi-meter tool to check it or you may find it easier to just swap in a new relay of the same amperage rating.
Push a new low profile mini blade fuse of the same amperage rating e. Older Pathfinder models might use the slightly taller mini blade fuses. Replace the fuse puller tool on to the left side of the interior electrical block. Replace the two smaller fuse box covers. If you are still having the same electrical issue, there might be a shorted wire somewhere or the component itself is faulty and will need to be replaced.

We bought it at Moore Nissan, which was a terrible dealership now Benton Nissan. After we took it home, we saw there were holes cut out of the 3rd seat and the foam was coming out. The hood of the car looked as though it would flip up and we took it back. The dealership said that is how it is supposed to be.
It still looks like it will fly up. In it was recalled for the transmission. I took it back and the dealership said they "re-programmed" something in the transmission. Not sure what. Then in March of this year, the first week, the transmission stopped engaging.
Now the gas pedal doesn't work. We can press the pedal as much as we want and the car does not go. When I took this to the Nissan place to have the Transmission fixed, I reminded them that I had brought it for a recall the previous year. The car only has k miles on it. The transmission should NOT go out on a Nissan with this few miles.
None the less, we had to pay. Nissan needs to do a recall on the Transmissions. There are dozens of complaints on the same thing. Air compressor is out at 75K, this is pretty awful. Since it is out of warranty I did not even bother going to dealer to be fixed. I used local shop to do the job. While working on AC mechanic found bad belt tensioner. Today, suddenly the AC blows ambient to warm air. The only time it blows cool or cold air is if I turn the temp to 60, the lowest setting. If it still blows at least a little cold air indicates the system is mostly intact and running. That's a good thing. Now you just need a partial recharge to bring it up to speed. A totally empty system would take two 14 ounce cans of R "Freon". So you can top it up with maybe one can as you check the pressure.

If it is a late model it does. Have you tried jumping the low pressure switch? If it runs with the pressure switched jumped then you have low A so you may have a leak. Just unplug it and jumper the connections inside the plug. I use a paper clip unrolled and bent to fit the plug, just make sure it is away from anything that may short it out.
